KangIn in DUI accident

Super Junior member Kangin
just can't seem to stay out of
trouble. After promising that he
would not cause any more
problems, he gets slapped with a
case of DUI.
At 3:10am on the 16th, an
intoxicated Kangin crashed into a
taxi at the junction of Nonhyun
and Hakdong in Gangnam, Seoul,
and then abandoned his car
before running away.
There were two passengers
along with the cab driver
involved in the accident although
it was fortunate that no one
suffered any major injuries.
Although Kangin had abandoned
the scene of the accident, he
turned himself in at the Gangnam
police station at 8:50am. It was
reported that his BAC level was
0.082%, but that was 6 hours
after the accident, so it's an
inaccurate reflection of his
intoxication.
A representative from the police
station stated:
"We can take into consideration
the fact that Kangin has
confessed, even though it was
some time after the incident.
However, since he had fled the
scene after the accident, we have
to consider it as a hit and run.
We will release more information
in the afternoon."

Controversy and awards

Controversy
During the Dream Concert held
on June 7, 2008 in South Korea, a
silent protest was held against
Girls' Generation by other fan
groups, notably E.L.F (Super
Junior), Cassiopeia (TVXQ), and
Triple S (SS501).[17]
Additionally, after the cover was
released for their second EP
Genie, there was controversy
over some images used on the
cover, including a fighter jet
purported to be a World War II
Japanese kamikaze fighter jet, as
well as a badge that resembled
the Nazi swastika (Luftwaffe) and
two missiles. Due to the
misunderstanding, SM
Entertainment delayed the EP
until June 29 so that the covers
could be redone.[18]

Introducing SNSD

Girls' Generation (Hangul: 소녀시대;
Hanja: 少女時代) is a popular
South Korean nine-member girl
group formed by SM
Entertainment in 2007. Its
members include (in order of
official announcement) YoonA,
Tiffany, YuRi, Hyoyeon, Sooyoung,
SeoHyun, Taeyeon (the leader) ,
Jessica, and Sunny. International
Girls' Generation fans usually
refer to the group as SNSD, the
acronym of the group's Korean
name So Nyeo Shi Dae or So
Nyu Shi Dae.

History of SNSD

History
Pre-debut
The members were
professionally trained primarily in
singing and dancing, while a
select few were also trained in
acting and modeling. Many of the
members already had made
stage names for themselves
through their participation in
magazine ads, television
commercials, and small television
appearances. For nearly two
years, Korean websites
speculated about which of the
female SM Entertainment trainees
would be placed into the group.
Before the official release of the
group name, Girls' Generation, it
was rumored that the group
would be named "Super Girls"
after their so-called counterpart,
Super Junior.
2007: Debut and first album
In July 2007, Girls' Generation
had their first performance on
M.net M! Countdown. Although
this performance was never
broadcast on television, many
videos were shot by fans and
uploaded onto the internet. The
song the girls performed was
called "Into the New
World" (Korean: 다시 만난 세계), which
became their first single. A show
documenting the girls' debut
titled "M.Net's Girls Go To School"
was filmed during this time.
In August 2007, the single "Into
the New World" was released.
This single included two other
songs, "Beginning" and "Perfect
for You" (Korean: 소원), later
renamed as Honey for their self-
titled debut album Girls'
Generation. An instrumental of
"Into the New World" was also
included.
The group began promoting the
single soon after its release. Girls'
Generation performed their
single on SBS's Inkigayo, MBC's
Show! Music Core, and on KBS's
Music Bank.
After a short break, the group's
first full album was released in
late autumn 2007, with the lead
single "Girls'
Generation" (Korean: 소녀시대), a
cover of Lee Seung-Chul (Korean:
이승철)'s hit. Promotion for the
single started in early November.
Marked by dance routines and
vocals, "Girls' Generation" was a
hit for the group, and the album
has sold 121,143 copies to date,
placing 8th in the year-end
charts.[1] In early 2008, Girls'
Generation began promoting
their second single, "Kissing
You". The music video featured
Donghae from Super Junior. This
song achieved the #1 spot in the
three main TV music rankings—
SBS Inkigayo, M.net
M.Countdown! and KBS Music
Bank.
In March 2008, the album was
re-released and re-titled Baby
Baby. A third single, "Baby Baby",
was used to promote the album.
A digital EP featuring Jessica,
Tiffany, and Seohyun was
released on April 2008, titled
Roommate. The single from the
mini-album is "Oppa
Nappa" (Korean: "오빠 나빠", literally
"Bad Brother", although
contextually it refers to an older
male friend).
Girls' Generation, along with
fellow artists such as BoA, TVXQ,
Super Junior, CSJH the Grace,
Zhang Liyin, SHINee and other SM
artists participated in SM Town
Live '08. The tour expanded its
route to South Korea, Thailand,
and China.
2008–2009: Other activities,
return with mini-albums
It was announced in autumn
2008 that Girls' Generation
would be starring in a reality
show on M.net. Titled Factory Girl,
the show chronicles the girls
working as interns at fashion
megazine "Elle". The program
began airing in early October.[2]
During their absence from the
music scene, they appeared in
many commercials for MapleStory
and Mabinogi. It was then
announced that the group's first
mini-album, Gee, would be
released in January 2009.[3] A
teaser video was released in
January 2009 and the first single
"Gee" released soon after.
Interest in the song rose after
the digital release,[4] topping
Cyworld's hourly music chart on
the release day.[5] The song also
went #1 on all major digital
music charts within two days.[6]
The group began its album
promotion on January 2009 on
MBC Show! Music Core.[7] They
sang their new single, "Gee", and
"Him Nae/Way To Go", another
track from the Gee mini-album.
This song is a remake of the
song "Haptic Motion" that was
used in cellphone advertisements
and is a mix of bubblegum pop
and punk rock. Meanwhile,
questions were raised when the
group did not appear on KBS's
Music Bank with "Gee", even after
winning #1 on the music chart
show.[8]
"Gee" is the record holder for the
longest-running #1 on music
portal M.net (for 8 weeks),
surpassing the previous record
of 6 weeks set by the Wonder
Girls' "Nobody".[9][10] They also
broke the record on KBS's music
show Music Bank by being #1 for
9 consecutive weeks,[11]
previously set by Jewelry's "One
More Time, which had 7
wins.[12] They won the award
for best-selling song for the first
half 2009 for "Gee". Promotions
for the song ended at the end of
March.
After a short break, SM
Entertainment announced that
the girls would be back with a
new single and showing a
"Marine Girl" concept; the song,
titled "Sowoneul Malhaebwa
(Genie)" (Korean: "소원을 말해봐",
literally "Tell Me Your Wish"), the
mini album was released digitally
on June 22, 2009.[13][14] The
mini-album includes a duet
between Jessica and Shinee
member Onew called "One Year
Later".[15]
On May 3, 2009. Girls Generation
was starred in their new reality
show "SNSD Horror Movie
factory", with the premier
episode receiving a viewership
rating of 3.3%. The show was
then cancelled after 6 episodes
due to low ratings. [16]
Since June 23, 2009, Girls'
Generation are starring Cable TV
program called "Girls'
Generation's Hello Baby" of KBS
Joy, where they are taking care
of a child and somewhat
experience how motherhood is
like. In that show, they take care
of a boy name "Cho
Kyungsan" (Korean: "조경산"), and
each week they (or fathers, male
guests who come out time to
time) select "The Best Mom" and
"the Worst Mom" among the
members according to their
work for the day.
On June 26, 2009, Girls'
Generation's comeback
performance was recorded on
KBS's Music Bank.[15] The group
then had their return
performances on MBC's Music
Core and SBS's Inkigayo on June
27 and 28, 2009. Girls'
Generation's 2nd mini-album
Genie was released on June 29,
2009.
Their first win for their single
"Sowoneul Malhaebwa (Genie)"
was obtained at the July 10,
2009 episode of KBS Music Bank.
Their second award was claimed
at the July 12, 2009 episode of
SBS Inkigayo. The group finished
promotions for "Sowoneul
Malhaebwa (Genie)" in August
2009.
Currently, the members are
carrying on with their solo
activities.
On October 7th, Girls' Generation,
along with label-mate f(x)
released a digital single named
"Chocolate Love" for the 4th
edition of the Blacklabel series LG
CYON phone, "Chocolate". Girls'

Formed following the disbandment of the bands Overcast and Aftershock in 1999, Killswitch Engage's lineup consists of vocalist Howard Jones, bassist Mike D'Antonio, guitarists Joel Stroetzel and Adam Dutkiewicz, and drummer Justin Foley. Signed to Roadrunner Records, Killswitch Engage has released four studio albums and one DVD.
Killswitch Engage rose to fame with its 2004 release The End of Heartache, which peaked at number 21 on the Billboard 200, and was certified gold in December 2007 for over 500,000 shipments in the United States. The title track, "The End of Heartache", was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2005, and a live DVD titled (Set This) World Ablaze was released in 2005. Killswitch Engage attended Reading and Leeds Festivals, Ozzfest, Download Festival, the Warped Tour, and Rock on the Range, and continued touring until May of 2008 in support of their As Daylight Dies album. Recently, the band has been in the studio working on their fifth studio album, Killswitch Engage, which will be released on June 30, 2009.Early years (1998–2000)
Following the break-up of his band, Overcast, in 1998 bassist Mike D'Antonio jammed with Aftershock guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz. As both bands had disbanded, Dutkiewicz recruited guitarist Joel Stroetzel from Aftershock, and Jesse Leach of Nothing Stays Gold as vocalist. Former Overcast vocalist Brian Fair was considered for the role, but he was unable to join due to obligations with his band Shadows Fall. D'Antonio said the band was initially going to be for fun and a "thing to do on the side"
The band's name originated from the break-up of Overcast and Aftershock, using aspects that pushed and elevated the band and putting the combination into a new category. D'Antonio commented "basically shutting everything down that we once knew and starting over. Killswitch, which is like turning everything off. Like if someone’s hand gets caught in something in a metal working shop the foreman will press one button that will turn off the machines. A killswitch. Then the engage is just turning it back on or something like that". The band got their name from an episode of the television series The X Files entitled Kill Switch, written by William Gibson. Gibson had actually named this episode for iconic industrial band Kill Switch...Klick after a chance meeting on a book tour. The two bands are otherwise unrelated.

Signed to a label, self-titled Alive or Just Breathing (2000–2002)
While playing shows and selling demos, Mike D was doing Ferret music ads and called up Carl from Ferret and told him about Killswitch his current project then signed the deal. The band released its self-titled debut album, and although initially the album was not a financial success and didn't enter any charts, it garnered the interest of Ferret Music founder Carl Severson. Severson, who worked at Roadrunner Records at the time, handed Killswitch Engage to several Roadrunner representatives. An A&R of the company, Mike Gitter, contacted D'Antonio and attended several of the band's shows, and his interest led him to offer the band a recording contract with Roadrunner. Declining offers from several smaller labels, the band accepted the Roadrunner deal as they thought the company had the resources to promote and distribute Killswitch Engage releases
Killswitch Engage began writing new material for their second album in November 2001. With a larger recording budget, the band entered Zing Studios in Westfield, Massachusetts in November, and was able to spend more time "getting things right"Mixed in January at Backstage Studios by producer Andy Sneapthe album was titled Alive or Just Breathing for lyrics in the song "Just Barely Breathing"A music video for the single "My Last Serenade" increased the band's exposure, and the album peaked at number 37 on the Top Heatseekers chart.After the album's release, which was written and recorded for two guitarists, the band decided to expand and become a fivesome when Dutkiewicz moved to guitar, and former Aftershock drummer Tom Gomes joined as drummer. Kevin Boyce of CMJ New Music Report described the record as "more addictive than crack cocaine that's been smothered in caffeine and nicotine and drenched with chocolate",and Jason D. Taylor of Allmusic said the release is "a pure metal album that seemingly has ignored any fashionable trend and instead relies solely on skill and expertise to sculpt some of meatiest heavy metal since the glory days of Metallica and Slayer".

New lead singer and drummer (2002–2004)
After Leach got married on April 20, 2002 and began touring again he started to become depressed. This started to affect his screaming as he would put too much emotion into the screaming and not enough technique. At his worst Leach would do a show then head back to the bus and go to sleep. Leach left the band a few days before the band was meant to play a show and sent the band members an e-mail telling them he had quit. D'Antonio thought that "after three years of hanging out with the dude, and considering him a brother, to just get an email was a little bit harsh."
The band immediately started to search for a replacement vocalist and found Howard Jones of Blood Has Been Shed. Jones disliked the band's sound when he first heard it. He commented "I was like, ‘Meh.’ I come from hardcore and dirtier metal, and Killswitch sounded so clean. But the more I listened to it, I realized there’s some really good songs here".After hearing about Leach's vocal problems, Jones contacted the band and was accepted as the replacement. Without listening to the entire self-titled album or Alive or Just Breathing, Jones had to memorize seven songs for his debut at the 2002 Hellfest.
The new lineup played on the Road Rage tour in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands in 2002 with 36 Crazyfists and Five Pointe O. Touring continued through the New Year's Day, and in 2003 the first song to feature Jones, "When Darkness Falls", appeared on the soundtrack of the 2003 horror film Freddy vs. Jason.Following the 2003 Ozzfest, drummer Gomes left the band because he wished to spend more time with his wife, to pursue his band Something of a Silhouette, and because he was tired of touring.[He was replaced by Justin Foley of Blood Has Been Shed and Red Tide, and Foley's first tour with the band was the MTV2 Headbangers Ball in 2003.

The End of Heartache (2004–2006)
The End of Heartache was released on May 11, 2004, and peaked at number 21 on the Billboard 200 with 38,000 sales in its first week,and it also peaked at number 39 on the Australian album chart following an Australian tour with Anthrax.The album went on to sell more than 500,000 copies in the U.S and was certified gold on December 7, 2007.The album received mostly positive reviews, with Jon Caramanica of Rolling Stone calling the album a "stunning collection, retaining much of their signature musical brutality".Ed Rivaria of Allmusic commented "riff upon riff are piled sky-high into each number that follows, it's the unpredictable rhythmic shifts used to build and then relieve internal pressure that fuel the Killswitch Engage power source".
In late 2004, the band supported Slayer on its U.S. Jagermusic dates, and headlined shows with From Autumn to Ashes, Eighteen Visions, and 36 Crazyfists. "The End of Heartache" became the main single for the movie Resident Evil: Apocalypse, and in 2005 the song was nominated in the Best Metal Performance category for the 47th annual Grammy Awards. The award was given to Motörhead for "Whiplash".In late 2004, The End of Heartache was re-released as a special edition album, with a second disc featuring various live performances, a Japanese bonus track, and a re-recorded version of "Irreversal". During the summer of 2005, the band returned for Ozzfest, and on November 1, 2005, Alive or Just Breathing was re-released as part of Roadrunner Records' 25th anniversary. On November 22, 2005, the live DVD (Set This) World Ablaze was released, which contained a live concert at the Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts, an hour-long documentary, and all the band's music videos. The DVD went gold in the U.S. on April 8, 2006 for 50,000 sales.

As Daylight Dies (2006–2008)
Killswitch Engage played the Reading and Leeds Festivals in August 2006, having already played Australian dates without Dutkiewicz, who was suffering from back problems and needed corrective surgery. On May 23, 2006, the song "This Fire Burns" was released on the WWE Wreckless Intent album.The track was intended to be the new theme song for WWE superstar Randy Orton; however, it was scrapped and later became the theme song for the WWE Judgment Day 2006 pay-per-view. "This Fire Burns" is currently used as the entrance theme for Smackdown superstar, CM Punk.
Recorded in three months, As Daylight Dies was released on November 21, 2006 and peaked at number 32 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart with 60,000 sales in its first week.It also entered the Australia album chart at number 29.Mixed by Dutkiewicz, the album received mostly positive reviews—Thom Jurek of Allmusic called it "a Top Five metal candidate for 2006 for sure".[30] Decibel Magazine contributor Nick Terry said "To call As Daylight Dies addictive would be an understatement. That it outdoes its already impressive enough predecessor could almost go without saying".Cosmo Lee of Stylus Magazine commented "the album is astonishingly badly sequenced", even though it contributed to the album being "less emotionally heavy-handed, and a lot more fun".As of November 27, 2007, As Daylight Dies has sold more than 300,000 units in the United States.
The album's first single, "My Curse", peaked at number 21 on the Hot Mainstream Rock chart, and is featured in the video game Guitar Hero III and as downloadable content for the video game Rock Band. It is also features in Burnout: Dominator. "The Arms of Sorrow" peaked at number 31 on the same chart. The band's cover of Dio's "Holy Diver", originally recorded for a Kerrang! compilation album titled High Voltage,peaked at number 12 on the Mainstream Rock charts.Early in 2007, the band had to cancel three of its European tour dates with The Haunted due to Dutkiewicz's back problems. He required emergency back surgery and was replaced on the tour by Soilwork guitarist Peter Wichers.
Killswitch Engage headlined the No Fear Tour in early 2007 with DragonForce, Chimaira, and He Is Legend. Due to Dutkiewicz's back problems, he was replaced by Damageplan and The Mercy Clinic frontman Patrick Lachman, who was formerly the guitarist for Diesel Machine and Halford. Dutkiewicz recovered and was able to finish No Fear tour, and the band began filming its video for As Daylight Dies's second single, "The Arms of Sorrow".
Killswitch Engage played the 2007 Download Festival with Iron Maiden, Evanescence, Lamb of God, Linkin Park, Slayer, and Marilyn Manson. The band also toured at Bamboozle 2007 and Warped Tour. On August 6, 2007, Dutkiewicz was forced to leave Warped Tour so he could fully recover from his back surgery and continue daily physical therapy. He was replaced by Killswitch's guitar technician Josh Mihlek for select songs, until his return on August 14, 2007.Killswitch Engage spent November 28 through December 17, 2007 on a U.S. tour with co-headlining band Lamb of God, and supporting acts DevilDriver and Soilwork.
Killswitch Engage took part in the Soundwave Festival in Australia during February and March 2008. Other bands attending include The Offspring, Incubus, As I Lay Dying, Alexisonfire, Haste The Day, Saosin, and Carpathian.The band toured until May 2008 ending their Canadian tour for As Daylight Dies in Vancouver, BC on May 29th.

Killswitch Engage (2009 - present)
The band is currently touring with Disturbed as part of the Music as a Weapon tour, and will play in the Rockstar "Mayhem Festival" with Slayer.The band was also confirmed for Download Festival 2009.The band entered the studio in October 2008 to start recording their next album with Dutkiewicz and Brendan O'Brien co-producing it (a first for the band), In mid-February, bassist Mike D'Antonio confirmed in an interview with Metal Hammer that "drums were finished", and that he had “finished up the last few bass fixes". He also stated that Howard [Jones] is in Atlanta finishing vocals, and that "it shouldn’t be too much longer now.” The band has also since been playing new material on tour.On April 14th, the band announced the name of their album as 'Killswitch Engage', the second time the band has self-titled the name of their album. It is now expected to be released on June 30th.

Setelah saya menulis hal ini, hari ini 16/04/2009 saya langsung memberitahu teman saya untuk membuka blog saya. Tetapi saya tidak memberitahu mereka tentang apa yang saya tulis. Saya berkata, "eh liat blog gw deh gw nulis sesuatu yang menarik. ini berhubungan dg muka gw." dan merekapun membalas, "apaan tuh? Pasti ttg muka lu yg bule itu yah? ah males ah udh tw gw." saya membalasnya, "bkan ttg muka gw yang bule. tp ttg muka gw cantik ap ganteng. sebuah dilemma yg gw lg hadepin. udah bka aja blog gw biar tw." bel masuk berbunyi, para siswapun ke dalam kelas. setelah bel istirahat berbunyi, sayapun berkumpul kembali dengan teman2 saya. kesabaran saya diuji. salah satu teman saya berkata, "eh om, coba deh pake bando gw. pasti cakep." dengan sabarnya saya menerima "tantangan" itu. Saya pun memakainya. Ketika terpasang, teman2 saya pun kaget dan langsung berkata, "ya ampun om, lu cantik banget" setelah itu nisky berkata, "aduh cewek gw *sambil memeluk badan saya*." dean berkata, "aduh om cakep banget. gw ska cewek imut." sayapun berfikir, "emang gw apaan?" nisky membalas perkataan dean dengan berkata, "dia mah emang udah cakep. diapain aja udah cakep." bel masuk berbunyi dan kita kembali ke kelas. Setelah bel pulang berbunyi saya berdiskusi dengan dean fathin dan lidya di angkutan umum. Kembali tentang ganteng atau cantik. Lidya berkata, "kalo gw blg om trmsk golongan cakep." dean membalas, "ah om kadang ganteng kadang cantik." setelah turun dari angkot saya pun masih terpikir akan dilemma tentang ganteng atau cantik.

Survey menyatakan bahwa 4 dari 5 siswa perempuan kelas IX-1 di SMP N 95 mengatakan bahwa saya tampan. Saya bingung akan pernyataan tersebut. Karena survey juga membuktikan bahwa 2 dari 5 siswa perempuan kelas IX-1 di SMP N 95 mengatakan bahwa saya cantik. Sebenarnya pernyataan tersebut membuat saya "agak" pede. Pernah dean mengatakan bahwa saya tampan. Pernahpun juga nisky mengatakan bahwa saya tampan dan cantik. Pernah fathin mengatakan bahwa saya cantik*itupun kalau fathin sedang dalam keadaan waras*. Teman2 saya mengatakan bahwa saya mirip vokalisnya Red Jumpsuit Apparatus yg mukanya cute tapi rocker. Sampai-sampai waktu saya beli nasi uduk, saya di tanyai seperti ini, "mesen apa mas? mas ini cewek apa cowok sih?" dengan pedenya saya menjawab, "ya cewek lah mas. masa tampang cantik gini di panggil mas?". Pernyataan bahwa saya tampanpun semakin diperjelas. Hari ini tanggal 15/04/2009 setelah les fisika nisky berkata kembali bahwa saya tampan dengan berkata, "aduh kamu ganteng banget sih, anaknya siapa ini?" *sambil mencubit pipi saya*. Kini hal ini menjadi sebuah dilemma yang saya hadapi. Dengan kedua pernyataan tersebut saya menyatakan bahwa... EMANG GW BENCONG!?!?

Looks like former AI contestant Justin Guarini from season one isn't really happy about this season's group performances. Justin is the co-host of idol wrap on the tv guide network. Then justin told everyone that the contestants is lip synching due to group's performance. Wow! so AI is a fake show?? So many denials! A rep for fremantle media north america westphal said, "the idols don't lip-sync. Period." well, not long after that, westphal confess to the media that, "due to extensive choreography and to balance their voices with open mikes against a screaming audience, the Idols to sing along to their own precorded vocal track during the group performances only." whuuut da heck is goin on in here? Some of the performances weren't live?? Ohh i hate it! I'm exactly agree with justin! Suck it idols!

I open perez hilton's page. Then i saw some kind of disturbing news. 13 year old boy from des moines bites 11 classmates! Gosh darn it! How come?? Dy bnr2 kyk anak laki. Sumpeh deh msh ayuan gw. Tp anakny asik jg seh. Dy jd metalhead gara2 gw cekokin th anak am lgu killswitch. Gw tw klmahan dean. Yaitu nyanyiin lguny seung ri yg strong baby.
